Joe Bob’s Halloween Hoedown (Shudder, October 10): It wouldn’t be spooky season without Joe Bob Briggs, whose annual tradition includes guest David Gordon Green this year. The only question is if Flanagan can top its success next October. It’s a fascinating original production in a time when most horror films and series seem to be rebooting something that’s been done before.
